The office invests proprietary capital and does not manage third-party assets.
Investment Approach
LP Capital takes a patient, research-led approach to investing. We seek opportunities where we can develop a differentiated view and where the underlying economics support attractive outcomes over a multi-year horizon.
Permanent family capital gives the office latitude across security type, stage, ownership, and duration. We invest where the opportunity is most compelling rather than to a fixed allocation or deployment schedule.
Investment size is generally $10 million to $50 million, with flexibility outside that range when warranted.

Associate, Public Equity San Francisco / Mill Valley, CA
We are seeking an Associate (Public Equity) to support a long-only public equity portfolio in a generalist capacity. The Associate will conduct fundamental company and industry research, build and maintain financial models, evaluate investment opportunities, and support ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of investment banking experience required
- 1–2 years of long/short equity investing experience preferred
- B.A. in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- CFA candidates preferred
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental research skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Proficiency with AI-enabled research and productivity tools
- Proficiency with Bloomberg and FactSet
- Generalist sector coverage capability; industrials and/or hardware experience preferred
- Expertise or demonstrated interest in quantum computing, semiconductors, automation, and robotics preferred

Seeking a highly organized and discreet Executive Assistant to provide support across professional, nonprofit, personal, and household matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, travel, and day-to-day logistics
- Support nonprofit, business, and administrative projects
- Coordinate with vendors, advisors, and service providers
- Manage household appointments, maintenance, deliveries, and errands
- Handle research, document preparation, organization, and follow-up
- Assist with events, reservations, purchases, and other personal logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior executive assistant, operations, or similar experience
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
